All-Ages Upcycling Workshop July 25

An upcycling workshop for all ages is being presented by betterArts at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 25, on the Better Farm campus.

Upcycling is the art of reusing discarded objects or material in such a way as to create a product of a higher quality or value than the original.

At this workshop, hosted by Stephanie DeJoseph of La Mia Designs, you're invited to bring in any used item you'd like to revive! Crafts supplies like glue, needle and thread, embroidery floss, and other items are provided. If you don't have something specific in mind, we will have plenty to choose from! This is a great class for all skill levels; and you are guaranteed to learn new tricks in! Whether you'd like to turn something into a lamp, put a fresh coat of paint on a table, strip furniture, make jewelry, create a mosaic from broken tile or sew a pillow sham from an old T-shirt, be sure to check this workshop out!

The fun will last 2 to 3 hours. Pre-registration is encouraged. Email info@betterarts.org to sign up.

Suggested $5 donation. All Ages. Better Farm is located at 31060 Cottage Hill Road, Redwood.
