Farm Tours

Tours are available year-round for $10/person. Reservations can be made here or by emailing info@betterfarm.org.

Field Trips

Field trips can be customized for age group or activity level. Contact us to set something up! Typical field trip activities options are seasonal can include a variety of activities:

  • Farm tour

  • Garden time

  • Guided hike

  • Survival skills

  • Arts/crafts time using up-cycled materials (greeting cards, jewelry making, soap making, mural, seed bombs, bird feeders and suet cakes, custom decorating on reusable bags, etc.)

  • Outdoor games

  • Pottery

  • Outdoor classroom time: nature talks, animal talks, eco-talks, hands-on compost lessons

  • Picnic (farm-to-table lunch provided by Better Farm that can cater to any dietary restriction)

  • Music (playing along with a musician, sing a-longs, listening/dancing to music)

  • Easy cooking classes (healthy snack creation including time to taste what they make)

Residencies and Education Programs

Better Farm offers weekend-long, immersive sustainability education programming throughout the year.. Learn more here, or email us about private and customized options.

Our sister organization, betterArts, offers artist residencies to creators of every ilk. Resources include studio and gallery space, an on-site radio station, marketing and promotion support, food, lodging, and much more.
